These bars have it going on, right?
And more than that, they taste ah-mazing.
I first tried a Pure Bar when I received one in my swag bag at BlogHer Food in Seattle. I was immediately intrigued by the clean list of ingredients and stellar nutrition info. The flavor was Banana Coconut, which of course sounded delish enough – but with all of the healthiness going on in there, could it actually taste good?
Yes.
This was thrilling news for me, because on extra-busy days (is there such thing as a day that’s not extra-busy? I didn’t think so) bars like this are a life-saver. I’m generally super-picky about ‘em, because I don’t want a lot of preservatives but I also want a good mix of protein, fiber, fat, and calories. Tasting good is an obvious bonus, so Pure Bars are a triple-win!
When I reached out to the company to get my hands on more, they happily obliged – and what’s even better is that they’re sharing the love with you, too!

My fav quick & easy breakfast…Breakfast Egg Rolls!
6 eggs (or 8oz egg beaters, egg whites), 1/3 c milk, 1 tsp garlic pepper, 1/2 tsp cayenne, 10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach thawed & squeezed dry, 4 oz turkey sausage cooked & chopped, 1 c pepper jack cheese shredded, egg roll wrappers.
Whisk together eggs, milk, and peppers. Scramble until nearly done, add spinach and meat and heat through. Remove from heat, stir in cheese. Roll in egg roll wrappers and place on baking dish greased with cooking spray. Lightly spray tops of rolls and bake at 425 for about 10-12 min until lightly brown. We get about 10 rolls from this recipe.
We enjoy ours dipped in salsa.
We also sometimes add chopped sweet peppers to the mix for more color and flavor.

I love Pure bars! We just finished up a couple boxes I ordered. I keep them with me for when I’m out training for my stand up paddle races, or when we’re at our off road races. They are the perfect way to get some food to keep going with out feeling too heavy. Super cute blog – I’m glad I found it!

My favorite snack right now is 10 smoked almonds and 2 cups of cherries. I had a QuestBar Protein Bar and 2 nectarines for breakfast. I am doing my first Sprint Triathalon on September 9th. And I am getting married to the most fabulous woman on earth on October 13th

Love Pure chocolate brownie….
Don’t just have one favorite snack. Love making smoothies…any kind…as long as they include a protein powder, preferably hemp, and frozen fruit. I also love making oatmeal with fresh apples, blueberries, molasses, and cinnamon. I eat this oatmeal almost every morning so sometimes I have it a couple of times a day!
Favorite healthy snack? Watermelon and almonds at the beach on a hot day.
My favorite snack lately has been pistachios.
My favorite healthy snack right now is an apple or carrots with Justin’s (limited-edition) Vanilla Almond Butter! It’s unbelievably delicious. I finally found it at my local whole foods and stocked up since I don’t know how long it will be around!

Most of my snacks are trail mix, vegan bars, or fruit. I love to snack and i buy oure bars frequently.
I don’t have a specific go to snack..it changes all the time, pure bars sound super yummy. as for nail polish. Pink with white polka dots…fun!
