She’s being compared to Grace Kelly, who was perhaps the most timelessly beautiful woman in history. It’s undoubtedly a lot to live up to – but surely Kate’s used to that, following in the footsteps of Princess Diana.

My grandmother closely resembled Grace Kelly, so I have a special place in my heart for her. I truly think she is the epitome of timeless elegance.
I absolutely love Kate’s dress – it couldn’t be more perfect. Do I think her choice was inspired by Grace Kelly? That’s hard to say for sure, because the most notable similarities I see are the long sleeves, the lace, and the super-cinched waist. Apparently they both went for drama in the trains without being excessive, and shorter veils. Kate’s dress was designed by Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton, and while it may have been partially inspired by Grace Kelly, there’s also a good chance they turned out to be similar by coincidence. Kate is going to be our generation’s timeless beauty, after all – and she’s already proved she’s got the type of classic beauty and personal style to stand the test of time.
What do YOU think? About the dress, the wedding, the bride – all of the above!

I agree. The dress was perfect. Not what I expected, but perfect. And it does look similar!
I think she hit it out of the park with that dress. It was gorgeous and she looked gorgeous in it. Skinny, though. Holy. Her dimples are gone.
